Overcurrent & Fault protection, with surge protection at the origin
We can advise on whether to go for a split load board, with MCB's, where your circuits are split between two Residual Current Devices, and protected with MCB's which provide overcurrent protection, while the 30 mA RCD's offer fault protection to ensure automatic disconnection of supply during fault conditions. Another option is individual RCBO's these devices offer both overcurrent and fault protection in one device. RCBO's will also trigger if a 30mA fluctuation is detected. That means if there is a change in current of 0.03 Amps, the device would trip and no doubt save someone's life.

Surge protection is another great safety feature, it is something you may never need, but if you do need it and don't have it, the results can be devastating, and considering this device costs only a few pounds, its definitely worth thinking about.
